Silent Operations:
Eliminating Acoustic Signatures at the Tactical Edge
CHALLENGE: Legacy generators
create noise vulnerability
Today’s battlefield requires heavy power for drones, sensors, and electronic warfare, but relying on 19th-century legacy diesel generators creates a massive vulnerability.
Traditional generators are heavy, run hot, and are dangerously loud, creating acoustic signatures that expose troop locations and disrupt mission-critical communications.
THE DFM SOLUTION:
Stealth low-acoustic NanoGrid for silent operations
DFM completely eliminates the acoustic vulnerabilities of legacy systems by providing silent, secure, and fully autonomous power. The NanoGridX system integrates a 30 to 60 kWh LFP Battery Bank that, together with its solar panels, can enable days of continous hours of completely silent, battery-only stealth mode.
This allows forward-operating units and mobile command posts to maintain heavy loads for C-UAS and ISR equipment without giving away their position. Furthermore, the system is designed for a 5-minute stealth deployment that requires no expert setup.
By relying on smart solar harvesting and high-capacity battery storage as the primary power sources, the DFM solution drastically reduces generator runtime, minimizing both acoustic and thermal signatures while keeping forces safe and undetected.
